Let's Celebrate!

Josh Anderson Foundation's 5th Annual Joshua Ball

November 2, 2018

7:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Josephine Butler Parks Center, Washington DC

Cheers! We have a lot to toast at our 5th Annual Joshua Ball.

The event will feature delicious food, a full bar, and a chance to hear from Virginia State Senator, Creigh Deeds, who has been widely recognized for his work on mental health reform following his son's death by suicide in 2013. Most recently, Senator Deeds sponsored the new Virginia law that mandates mental health education in public schools. Join us on Friday November 2nd as we listen to Senator Deeds' remarkable story and support the efforts of the Josh Anderson Foundation (JAF), a non-profit organization working toward the day when no teenager turns to suicide.

The Josh Anderson Foundation provides teens with mental health education, resources and support through its signature program, our minds matter (OMM). OMM is a peer-to-peer program that equips teens with the tools to change their school culture around mental health. As of the fall 2018, JAF has supported 16 schools with OMM clubs - and there are many more in the pipeline!

We look forward to celebrating with you on November 2nd!
